The process of hardening the concrete mixes by keep its surface moisture for certain period  is called curing.

Requirement of curing: when the cement contacts with water,hydration takes place. This results evolution of heat.this heat develops cracks in the concrete.this results decease the strength of the concrete .hence it is required to moist the concrete for a certain period until concrete hardence.

Uses of curing:- quality of concrete,improves with the efficient un interrupted curing.
